Manchester, for Popshot Magazine 

An illustration for Popshot Magazine, to accompany a poem about the 2017 Manchester Arena bombings, by writer Gene Groves.

The worker bee has long been a symbol for the unity of hardworking Mancunians, and so the idea was to show a bee visiting some memorial flowers and items - recognising the grief still carried by those referenced in the poem, and the strong spirit of the city since.
