Reaching Out

For  Guide Magazine, a full-page editorial illustration, to acompany a story about a young woman wondering if and how to reach out to a stranger in a gym, based on her own past experience with an eating disorder. 

A mirror seemed like the best way to capture both characters addequately in the scene, whilst still maximising the intended sense of distance between them.
